January is the first Month of the year according to the American culture as well as many other. I think the idea of stones that represent those months and how they shape the many personalites sorounding thoes months is facinating to me. January holds the horascope/ zodiac sign of Capicorn and Aquarious. Two signs that have very different personalities.
I have quite a few loved ones in January. One being my Grandfather who passed on January 13 but was born January 5th. He lost his 5 or 6 year battle with Cancer. Crazy thing is he was diagnosed the same time as my Uncle who only survived his cancer 2 years after his diagnosis.  Other loved ones include my late grandma Janis who was January 11th, My big Bro from another Domo January 4th, And my all loving hubby who has January 17th on lock. On one side I see January borns being very quiet and very personalable. Or they can be quiet storms, almost like an amazonian Frog with beauty and bright colors but toxic venom that you dont want to mess with.

Thats what inspired this look, The deep sultry red of the Granet. Its the perfect bright to draw you in to your doom.

Girl I am a shiny freak, I love a shimmery eye shadow with the perfect amount of metallic look. So origianally I wanted to do a royal purple but when I sat down to film the purple in this pallet gives me more of  a mauve purple vibe so I switched gears and used a Silver. Ive done a look simialr to this before but of course a little different. My makeup lovers know what I am saying.

I also wanted to try the shimmery line over the lid but that didn't turn out the way I wanted, which is ok. That happens sometimes with makeup.

Dose of Colors, One of the few brands that I think don't get as much hype as they should. The spark of the company seems to have waves when they are on top, then like most companies, they have to hurry and come up with their next big project. The one thing about Dose of Colors, I don't think they let that interfere with the quality of their products.

These eye shadows blend so smoothly and so air brush , its almost as if they lay on the lid in the exact place of perfection. A smokey eye can go so wrong but with these shadows you don't have to go into using a shadow that is to harsh. A berry smokey eye is what I created today.

The shadows do have fall out but they blend like a dream. All my face products were drug store!
Hope you enjoy the tutorial.

HUDA BEAUTY REVIEW

1/2/2018

I don't own all of the Huda Beauty products but I did purchase the "Dessert Dust" Pallet as well as the #FauxFilter Foundation. (SN: I also own one of her liquid lipsticks too but I also have not tried it out.)

Lets start with the Foundation:
When I say this is super full coverage. Its probably the most full coverage founation that I own. I mean nothing on your skin will show thru this foundation. It does have a fregrance that is pretty strong and the primer smells like it as well. Its like an old lady perfume smell. its really strong. This foundation will have your skin looking perfect.

Now the eye shadow pallet.
I tried to not like it, I seen reviews of it having a whole lot of fall out, but that just wasn't my experience. The matte shadows blend beautifully and the color selection makes for some beautiful sultry looks. Browns, terra-cotta, and some cool tone purples make for some great looks this season.
